magnetic clasp A magnetic clasp is jewelry finding made of a pair of magnets with a silver, silver-plated, gold, gold-plated or gold-filled cover glued over the magnets.  The magnetic property of attraction causes the clasp to stay closed.  The clasp can be opened by tugging gently, hard enough to overcome the magnetism.  View magnetic clasps here. memory wire Memory wire is a special kind of wire that is hardened and made in a round shape. The hardening preserves the round shape and makes this wire excellent to use for making either beaded necklaces or bracelets.
