V Chandelier Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectAlternative Designs Continued:

Step 18:  Add peg 8 to your pattern as shown below-left.  You won't need to flip this wire component over as it will be two layers of wire whether you flip it over or not.

Step 19:  Wrap the wire around peg 8 as shown below-center.  As before, push the wire with the tip of the index finger on your dominant hand.

Step 20:  Remove your wire component from your jig.  At this point the wire component should appear as shown below-right.

Step 21 to V Jewelry Wire & Beads Chandelier Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 21:  Using your flush cutter, cut the excess wire from the wire component.  When completed the Small "V" Shaped Wire Component should appear as shown at right.

Step 22:  Now we need to make figure 8 connectors using our step jaw pliers and round nose pliers.  Use 22 gauge wire to match the wire you used to make your v shaped wire components.  Instructions for making figure 8 connectors can be found by selecting here.   Make 10 or 22 figure 8 connectors according to which style of earrings you want to make.  For beginners, it will be easier to assemble these earrings if you make larger loops in your figure 8 connector.  Try the middle step in your step jaw pliers.  For more advanced wire workers, we used the first step in our step jaw pliers and a lot of patience to make the earrings shown.
