SALE: Our 6mm Gold Filled Bling Earrings Kit is on sale for
$9.99 plus shipping and handling. Included in this kit are a pair
of AAAAA 6mm, round, gemstone cut cubic zirconia (CZ) gemstones (WigJig
item 3113) , a pair of gold-filled 4 prong snap-fit post style
settings (WigJig
Item 3188), and a pair of gold-filled ear clutches (WigJig
Item 3249.) We will also include a one page instruction
sheet with this kit (WigJig
Item 3492.).
For those who prefer the 6 prong setting shown above, you can purchase the items in that kit separately by ordering the same gemstones (WigJig Item 3113), the same gold-filled ear clutch (WigJig Item 3249), and the 6 prong setting (WigJig Item 3186). These three items purchased separately will cost about $15 plus shipping and handling. If you order the components separately, consider other gemstones instead of the white CZs shown. We sell almost 20 different gemstones. You can view our selection of colored gemstones by selecting here. FREE INSTRUCTIONS: Making these earrings is so easy that our 6 year old nephew can make them. In short, if you can pick up a toothpick, you can make these earrings. You can find our instructions for making these earrings below. You can also find a video on how to make these earrings on You Tube by selecting here.
Step 2: Select a snap-fit setting that matches the diameter of the gemstone you have selected. If you have an 8mm gemstone, obviously you would select an 8mm setting. Grasp the setting with the thumb and forefinger on your dominant hand or in your bent chain nose pliers as shown at left and position the setting over the gemstone. (We show grasping the post with the pliers in this picture, because when we grasp the post with our fingers, our fingers hid the post and make it hard to view this technique.)
Step 4: For those who have chain nose pliers, one additional step is helpful. This step makes sure that each prong is set tightly against the gemstone. This is accomplished by grasping an opposing pair of prongs and gently squeezing them in the jaws of your bent chain nose pliers. Do this for each of the 3 pairs of opposing prongs. Step 5: Add an ear clutch to the post end of the setting. Repeat the above steps to make your second earring. Please note that very rarely, the prongs in a snap type setting can be bent during shipping. This doesn't happen often, but it has happened. If this happens, in almost all cases, the prongs can be easily bent back into shape. If you have a pair of chain nose pliers, this is the preferred tool to use to straighten the prongs. If you don't have pliers, your fingers will work. |
